The Rose Bowl was first played in 1906 and played annually starting 1916 in Pasadena, CA. The Rose Bowl represents that American tradition of New Year’s Day bowl game. If you plan on celebrating 2018 with the Full Rose Bowl Experience, here are some tips for the best New Year.
Like most events, prices will keep going up the closer it is to the event. Make sure to buy your tickets in advance to guarantee your seating preferences and to keep costs lower. Tickets can be purchased here.
The Rose Bowl is one of the biggest New Year’s celebrations in the country. Make sure to book your transportation early to ensure a good rate and vehicle. Choose from our fleet of luxury transportation vehicles for the best fit for your Rose Bowl experience.
Make sure to leave enough time for parking. Since traffic does get congested, give you and your party an adequate amount of time for travel and parking to avoid congested traffic. If you plan on tailgating, we suggest arriving around 7 a.m. and parking in lot “H” since it is the most popular spot to tailgate.
Tip: When it gets hot, you may want to tailgate on the golf course; it is way cooler hanging out in the grass than the hot concrete of the main parking lots.
Unless you want classic stadium food, we suggest eating at local bars and restaurants in Old Town Pasadena located on Colorado Boulevard.
The Rose Bowl Stadium has a clear bag policy. It would be best to leave large items in the vehicle unless bringing it in a clear bag. Save time and the hassle by condensing items or leaving them behind. Policies and rules on items can be found here.
Have a fun and safe time rooting for your team. Enjoy the New Year and the “Granddaddy of Them All” with your favorite transportations service, Best-VIP.
