Tired of the same party every year? Organize the best corporate holiday party this season!
The holidays are a great time to show employees how much they mean to a company. Plan a unique party that is sure to spark creativity and motivation. Planning is essential to throwing any successful corporate party. Whether you’re the owner or an office manager, organization and preparation are going to be your main objectives for a fun event. Make sure to secure holiday party transportation for a safe and fun night of celebrations. See the suggestions below for theme ideas and your Holiday Party Check List!
Giving Back the Holiday Spirit. Get into the true spirit of the holidays with a charity-based event. Have the staff donate their gifts instead of giving them. Givewell.org is a great website that ranks charities and shows the effectiveness of their program. Or throw a PuppyParty! Have adoptable puppies come to the office and not only up the cuteness factor, but also provide potential homes for them.
Merry Craftmas. Break out the glitter and wrapping paper! Begin the festivities with a holiday ornament decorating party or have a gingerbread house building contest. DIY will be the main theme of this party and encourages everyone to bake, decorate and get in touch with their inner Martha Stewart.
Reindeer Game. A little competition never hurt anyone. Take the staff out in their ugly Christmas sweaters to play Broomball at a local ice skating rink. Or play Cheer Pong—instead of ping pong balls use jingle bells for a holiday twist on the drinking game.
Santa Con. In inspiration of NYC’s Santa Con, have everyone come to the office dressed as Santa. Participate in gift exchanges, lots of photo booth opportunities and get all red and white food options. We recommend having one person come dressed in their regular attire for everyone to take photos with!
Party-On-The-Go. Take the crew out on the go in the ultimate holiday party bus. Visit multiple holiday locations or even participate in some caroling at the CEO’s neighborhood while traveling. The party continues on and can make for some great stops such as the 109th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade or the Hanukah Celebration in Beverly Hills.
After picking your theme, use this checklist to throw the best party:
Plan Early. Event and transportation reservations fill up quickly during the holiday season. Start calling ahead at least three weeks in advance, this will ensure the best price and your preferred party transportation.
Be Safe. Safety is always a primary concern when throwing a big event. Drinking is normally occurring at corporate events; provide employees the option for safe, professional transportation to get them home so they can have a blast at the party.
