MLB All-Star Private Transportation
The 96th Midsummer Classic comes to Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies for the first time since 1996. All-Star Week runs July 10 through July 14, with events split between Citizens Bank Park and the Pennsylvania Convention Center. For groups arriving from out of town or coordinating multiple days, private MLB All-Star transportation removes the one variable Philadelphia traffic is unlikely to manage on your behalf.
More Than a Midsummer Game
The 2026 game lands in the middle of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations. Major League Baseball chose Philadelphia specifically for the semiquincentennial, tying baseball’s midsummer tradition to the city where independence was declared. The broader America 250 programming running through the summer means Philadelphia is operating at elevated capacity well before July. Hotels across Center City and South Philadelphia are filling faster than a typical All-Star year, and visitors who have not yet locked in accommodation should not assume the usual lead time applies. The Red Carpet Show at Independence Mall on game day also means the gathering effectively begins in Center City before moving south to the ballpark for first pitch, creating two separate crowd centers on the most attended day of the week.
Five Days, Two Venues, Everything in Between
- Friday, July 10: HBCU Swingman Classic at Citizens Bank Park. Fifty elite players from historically Black colleges and universities compete on a major league stage in an event co-created by Ken Griffey Jr.
- Saturday, July 11: MLB Draft opening rounds at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1:00 p.m.
- Sunday, July 12: All-Star Futures Game at Citizens Bank Park, noon. Followed by MLBx, a new 3-on-3 competition featuring MLB legends and celebrity talent.
- Monday, July 13: T-Mobile Home Run Derby at Citizens Bank Park, 8:00 p.m. Eight of the game’s top power hitters across three rounds.
- Tuesday, July 14: All-Star Red Carpet Show at Independence Mall, 2:00 p.m. MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park, 8:00 p.m. on Fox.
The game at the Pennsylvania Convention Center runs Saturday through Tuesday, July 11 to 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission requires a separate ticket for some areas and is free for others. The Convention Center is at 12th and Arch Streets in Center City, roughly five miles north of Citizens Bank Park.

How the City Moves Around This Event
Citizens Bank Park sits at 1 Citizens Bank Way in South Philadelphia, part of the Sports Complex that also includes Lincoln Financial Field and the Wells Fargo Center. The ballpark holds 42,901 and is known for unobstructed sightlines from every level. Ashburn Alley along the first base side concentrates most of the food and drink options, which means the crowd density there is highest in the hour before first pitch. Arriving with time to settle in before that build is worth factoring into any pickup time.
The park is roughly five miles south of Center City. The SEPTA Broad Street Line runs directly to NRG Station at the final southbound stop, steps from the main gates. That same station absorbs the full exit load after the final out, and on Home Run Derby night, followed by All-Star Game night on consecutive evenings, that load does not clear quickly. I-95 and I-76 both feed the Sports Complex, but post-game exits on those routes are among the slowest in the city. For groups with early starts the following morning, a private vehicle staged away from the main exit corridors and confirmed before the game ends is the difference between a 20-minute departure and a 90-minute one.
Getting to the Park Without the Wait
Covering the Full Schedule
This is not a single game night. Fixtures run across five days, which means transportation demand is sustained rather than concentrated on one evening. Attendees covering multiple sessions need a vehicle that matches the full itinerary, not one reserved trip at a time. The gap between the two venues is five miles, a straightforward drive under normal conditions that becomes less predictable as traffic builds through the run. For parties of six or more moving between venues across multiple days, our Limo Sprinter Van keeps everyone together and eliminates the need to coordinate separate vehicles each day.
Game Day Has Two Stops Before First Pitch
On July 14, the Red Carpet Show at Independence Mall begins at 2:00 p.m., several hours before the 8:00 p.m. game. Fans attending both need to move from Center City to South Philadelphia at one of the busiest points of the day. A private vehicle covers that transition directly. The alternative is managing transit or rideshare availability when every other attendee is trying to do the same thing in the same two-hour window. Those who follow major sporting events throughout the season recognize this pattern from other high-attendance venues.
Airport Arrivals Into A Packed City
Philadelphia International Airport is roughly four miles from Citizens Bank Park and about eight miles from Center City hotels. For parties flying in during this period, flights land in a city already at elevated capacity. Our Lincoln Navigator staged at the terminal removes the first friction point of a stretch that has several more waiting: luggage loaded, no queue, direct to the hotel. For those also attending sessions earlier in the run, landing on Friday or Saturday, July 10 or 11, is the cleanest entry point before the city fully builds.
